Arcee and Elita One were shown to be killed in Revenge of the Fallen at the Giza battle, and Chromia was supposedly killed in the large explosion, but between the second and third films (in the comics), Elita is crushed and killed by Shockwave, leaving only Arcee and Chromia. They did not appear in Dark of the Moon due to their demises.
Presented as the same character from the Unicron Trilogy universe, Snow Cat had gone into hiding in the ruins of the Decepticon city of Kaon, believed dead by the Autobots. Driven mad by his loss of purpose caused by Megatron's disappearance (and having gotten an orange and black paint job), he roamed the polar regions of the planet, randomly attacking anyone he encounters and escaping before retribution.
Almost all the characters are appearing with modifications, both in appearance and role. In creating a stronger impression of the characters, General Motors supplied cars with extra bright colours to make the Autobots look more attractive and impressive. Hasbro worked out the details of the robots designs.
In the next series, you would again see the historic rivalry between two groups. In the third series, Scorponok had a meeting under the leadership of Ratbat. Scorponok became successful against Ratbat in the battle, and thus became more powerful by having great number of earthbound Decepticons.
Dickbot is an AllSpark Mutation who was created from a blender and is the possible leader of the Appliance-Bots, who were created from their respectful appliances when Sam accidentally dropped a shard of the AllSpark on the ground. Dickbot armed with a penis-shaped ray gun. He is destroyed by Bumblebee at the cost of the Witwicky's house.
The Autobots emerge from the wreckage and Optimus tries to fool the Decepticons into thinking he has the Dark Spark. The Insecticon Sharpshot informs Shockwave that Ironhide is actually the one carrying it. The two give chase after Ironhide, and forcefully take the Dark Spark from him. Autobots attempt to stop them during their escape, but the two flee to the lower levels of Cybertron. There they encounter a ruin that was once used to house the Dark Spark. While Sharpshot powers up the exit door Shockwave gleans information from the computer logs. The two make it through the door, and meet up with the Combaticons who escort Shockwave to Megatron.
